Our Uni-Gates are called this as they are 'universal' which means they can be hung as right or left handed. However the narrow gates when hung as a pair of do not match as a "mirror pair", the front brace on the small gates goes from the bottom left to the top right (the reverse brace is opposite). It is possible to order a narrow gate built in the opposite hand - please ask the office about this service. Gate is designed with heavy top rail over entire width for extra strength. Both hanging and slam stiles are drilled to allow gates to be hung on the left or right. New planed finish. Rail and brace crossings are bolted with stainless steel bolts. Top bars are chamfered. Cross braced for extra strength. All joints are morticed and tenoned. Gates are 1.27m high overall to the top of the stiles, the toprail is 116cm from the foot of the stile. Gate is normally hung 4cm off the ground giving a height of 120cm off the ground for the top rail. Top rail 100mm x 75mm, under rail and cross braces 75 x 25mm
